Style suggestions for your Deadly 50's style party dress!

Here at Deadly HQ we only need half an excuse to be overdressed - and this time of year is just full of excuses to put on a party dress!

We've put together 5 key 50's party looks based on some of our favourite dresses....

First up is the Screen Siren look - glamorous with just a hint of danger.

Our Screen Siren look is based around the fabulous Gia dress by Pinup Couture - this is one knockout dress which is fabulous for flashing a hint of cleavage while disguising any flaws with the beautifully draped fabric. This dress is full on glamour but we know not every occasion calls for an over the top look (sadly!) so we've toned things down just a touch with flat black glitter pumps and a glossy Cruiser bag in black patent. We'd love this look with a black biker jacket too and a slick of Red Hot Red Besame Lipstick, naturally.

Our Hollywood Glamour outfit is a much dressier look!

We've based this look around our Tempest Dress (which is also available in a fabulously flattering shade of blue). This look is designed for stepping out on the red carpet, or a wonderful formal evening. This dress is a classic and we love it with or without a 50's style petticoat (who are we kidding, we always want to wear a petticoat!) To accessorise we've chosen classic Vivienne Westwood Skyscrapers in velvety black, a mink coloured faux fur stole and our glitzy Getaway Bag in Champagne. To finish off we think this look could be taken to the next level with seamed stockings, long black gloves and some time spent with our Vintage Hairstyling book by Lauren Rennells

For an effortlessly chic look which is guaranteed to turn some heads, may we present the Retro Bombshell outfit.

The fabulous Jasmine Dress by Stop Staring! is the inspiration for this look. This dress is a real knockout and doesn't need too much in the way of accessories - your killer curves will do the talking! But baby it's cold outside so we've teamed this stunning wiggle dress with a luxurious black faux fur stole, black satin pumps and a black Mini Gambler bag for all your essentials.

The Faux Vintage Chic look is perfect if you aren't sure just how dressy your do is, this look is not too flashy but we promise you will look and feel fantastic.

Our Faux Vintage Chic style has been built around the Alika Dress by Bettie Page Clothing - a dress which suits just about everyone. This little red dress has been designed to cinch in your waist and flatter your curves from XS-3XL. Like all our Swing Dresses it can be worn with or without a crinoline, but if there is even a hint of a chance of dancing, may we recommend a crinoline petticoat! We've paired the dress with  the delightful black Vivienne Westwood Skyscrapers (which are also available in several other colours including red glitter!) a black lace Capette and a black Sin City bag which is big enough to fit a pair of flat shoes in for later in the evening!

Our final outfit takes a walk on the wild side with our Femme Fatale outfit.

Surprisingly, we've designed this outfit around the Femme Fatale dress by Stop Staring! - a faux leather wiggle dress which will rock your curves and put a smile on everyones face! We just adore matching shoes and bags so we've added leopard print Satin Pumps and the black and leopard Mini Gambler bag. This is a festive outfit though so we've finished off the look with a sparkly jet Crystal Twist necklace.
Everyone loves a bad girl and this outfit hints at yours while leaving plenty to the imagination...

So there you have it, 5 different looks with lots of accessory suggestions.
We love to see how you accessorise your favourite Deadly outfit too though - so if you have a photo we'd love for you to share them with us via the Deadly is the Female Facebook or our DeadlyFemale Twitter
